How effectively did you use your time this week?
Considering I was ill for the first half of the week, I think I caught up extremely well with the workload and research ended up doing more work than others I think, as I was so worried about falling behind that I had a lot of motivation catch up. I also believe that despite I was a bit hesitant to start my initial project launch at home after catching up at a tutorial, the time I did have left was used effectively and produce a lot of inspiring work. I reflected a lot on the work during the week to inspire and fuel my creativity when producing my next research A3 sheet.
What new research or contextual references did you need to find to sustain your ideas/project?
I needed to research into designers and interior designers to research methods of working, and how they presented their work. I used Shanan Camparano primarily as I really liked the look of her work, and looked into how she presents her work and ideas in the format of mood boards to stimulate er further work.
How well did you maintain on-going annotation and the documentation of your work?
I had a lot of physical A3 design sheets that I compiled together into a folder, which was itself the documentation of my work. I also aded to an on-going page of notes in my diary which I am currently using to write all of the weekly evaluations, but also have a dedicated page of space specifically for the design project.
Was the last two weeks experience of art/media/design what you expected? If not, how was it different?
It wasn't what I expected in terms of being so free and open to our own interpretation of the topics and subject matter, at times I found that a little bit daunting, and meant that I sturggled finding ides to move on with.
