I have previously researched into Kusuma's work, when last year I did a lot of work with small circle mirror tiles. I was also lucky enough to see some of the artists work in situ on a visit to the tate in early 2017.

Having watched these two videos recently, I drew a lot of inspiration for my work using small circle stickers and the way they are used/placed form this artist. I tried to reflect her (ironically) care free placement of the dots that she adopted, as she placed the responsibility of the placement in the hands of complete strangers in her piece 'Obliterate Room'. I had this in mind in my work experimental sketchbook work done today with the dots, and it helped me to create effective responses to her work, while experimenting in my own style.
