SECONDARY RESEARCH.

BRUCE NAUMAN
Interested in what art can be, not just what a painting can be. He works in a variety of media to explore the boundaries and capabilities of art.

Works displayed by various artists in the Tate modern gallery space, with some Tate plaques explaining the work and artist background.

WHITE CUBE GALLERY SPACE

EDDIE PEAKE @ White Cube.
Walking through this gallery space I was immediately aware of the contemporary art feel that the showroom possessed; an eclectic array of objects scattered around the room waiting for the artist to interact with them, creating the performance art.
I was able to witness a short performance piece take place while we were there, with the artist interacting with several mixing desks with different records and live additions of sound added through a headset and microphone. Having been a fan of Eddie Peakes work for a few years, I was hugely interested to watch him working in person, and to be emmersed in the environment he created.
